Call for informal presentations

Important dates

- Deadline for submitting an informal presentation: November 26, 2010
- Notification to speakers: Within three days from submission

- Early registration ends: November 19, 2010
- Late registration ends: December 10, 2010
- JAC 2011: December 15-17, 2010

Scope

The scope of the symposium is centered on cellular automata, tilings and related models of computation. Topics of interest include (but are not limited to) algorithmic, computability, complexity, symbolic dynamics, topological, ergodic, algebraic, and structure aspects of these models.

Submission

Prospective speakers are invited to submit an abstract of their informal presentation in English (max 2 pages). The abstract should be formatted in pdf, and submitted using the

EasyChair submission server

under the category "informal presentation". The abstract should clearly state the main content of the planned presentation.

The abstracts of the informal presentations are not included in the conference proceedings but they may be distributed to participants separately.
