Important: On Friday, December 17, JAC will take place onboard a ship, and then it is not possible to reach the airport. The ship returns to Turku harbour at 19:15 on Friday evening. Please take this into account when making the travel plans.

You may reach Turku by train or plane. The closest airports are Turku, Helsinki, Stockholm, Tallinn (and may use connections in Copenhagen or Riga). Check the websites of Finnair, Air France, SAS, Air Baltic, World-wide flight schedules.

There are shuttle busses from the Helsinki-Vantaa airport to Turku. (Type "Helsinki-Vantaa airport" as the place of departure and "Turku" as the destination. Travel time is about 2,5 hours, departures every hour.)

Stockholm and Tallinn (and indirectly Copenhagen and Riga) are connected to Finland by ferry boats. From Stockholm, daily connections are operated through one of the most beautiful archipelagos in the world by Silja line and Viking line.

Stockholm is also accessible by train, via Copenhagen which is linked by (night) train from most western european cities. You can see timetables in die Deutsche Bahn international website (but may have to order the last part of the ticket by phone or from the Swedish company).

From Russia, there are direct night trains from St Petersburg or Moscow to Helsinki. Check the Finnish train company.
