- Statistical mechanics and computation of DNA self-assembly
- Workshop in Mariehamn, Åland, on May 25–28. Mariehamn is conveniently reachable from Turku by ferry boats twice a day.
- The 6th International Computer Science Symposium in Russia, CSR 2011
- The annual CSR conference will be held in St. Petersburg, Russia, on June 14–18. St. Petersburg is easily reachable by train from Turku, via Helsinki.
